PC Week, one of the oldest newsweeklies in computer journalism, is changing with the times. Starting with the May 8 issue, PC Week will change its name to eWEEK, according to Publisher Sloan Seymour. The change marks the final step to target coverage for companies undertaking e-commerce and Internet-based business initiatives, the company announced. The name change includes all of PC Week’s editorial operations including online, Webcast and seminars. PC Week, a partner with ZDNet (zdz) , is part of Ziff-Davis Publishing (now renamed Ziff Davis Media Inc.) acquired by Willis Stein & Partners. The deal was finalized Wednesday. -- ZDNet Staff
