Peoplesoft and Sybase cuddle up

Sybase CEO Jon Chen claims the company is in better shape than ever and is surviving well in a grim economy. He said the company remains profitable and banged the drum for a new partnership with PeopleSoft. The deal means the two will jointly market products and PeopleSoft will fully support Sybase software on future PeopleSoft releases. This represents the first true CRM deal Sybase has done, according to The Register.
