While this prototype wasn't found in a bar nor will it be as earth-shattering as the fourth-gen iPhone news, this is quite an upgrade for the iPod Touch if it is real.
And given the large collection of photos of this prototype compared with a real and current iPod Touch, everyone wants to believe it is real. I4U suspects they have a "source inside one of Apple's manufacturers," while Engadget thinks it might just be an old prototype and Mashable says that Apple just can't keep a secret anymore.
Either way, I'm sure plenty of consumers would be more excited about the iPod Touch if there was a built-in camera. We could be seeing some news about this at WWDC 2010 in a few weeks. Although, if there's going to be a product announcement, all signs are pointing towards the new iPhone taking center stage.
