Playboy attacks dog-lover site

Hugh Hefner, head of the Playboy publishing empire, has launched a legal battle against a Web site for dog owners called Playdog, which he claims could confuse the readers of his magazine.

The creator of Playdog.com , Steve Sackman, has refused two request by Playboy to change the name of his site saying that he is quite happy to simply inform bewildered visitors that the site has nothing to do with the adult magazine.

Sackman, who lives in New Jersey, claims that there is nothing remotely sexual about his site, although it does contain slightly worrying section entitled "What's the strangest position you've found your dog in?"
