PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle coming May 31

PlayStation Network security concerns aside, Sony's latest bundle is actually a pretty good deal.

With all this talk of hacking and compromised customer information, it's easy to forget that the PlayStation 3 is still a viable and compelling gaming console.

Nowhere is this more evident than with the Limited Edition PlayStation 3 Call of Duty: Black Ops Bundle. For $299, Sony is offering the 160 GB version of the PlayStation 3 with Call of Duty: Black Ops included. Treyarch's massively popular shooter also comes with the First Strike content pack, which currently sells for $14.99.

Considering that the 160 GB PS3 is $299 by itself, and Call of Duty: Black Ops and First Strike cost a combined $75, Sony's latest bundle is actually pretty compelling. So if you were waiting for a reason to buy a PS3, this is likely it.

The bundle will hit stores May 31st.
