Sony has announced it will be dropping the price of its PlayStation 4 console to match that of Microsoft's Xbox One for the Black Friday/Cyber Monday period.
From Friday, November 27 through to Monday, November 30 you'll be able to buy a 500GB PlayStation 4 complete with the Uncharted collection for $299 (Canadian gamers will also see a reduction over the same period, down to $369 CAD).
Microsoft will having a Black Friday sale, with Xbox One console bundles starting at $299, which is also the lowest price ever for the console. Microsoft is also slashing $50 off all 12 Xbox One holiday bundles that are on offer.
It seems that Sony and Microsoft are locked in a console price war, and consumers are the winners.
