If you managed to wait this long to bring a Nintendo Wii home, you can wait a couple of more weeks right? Because your patience will be duly rewarded with: price drop for the system, improved bundle and four classic titles for a new, budget-friendly price.
In anticipation of the launch of the Wii 2 at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles in June, Nintendo seems to be doing some Spring cleaning by offering the Wii (original) in white or black, bundled with Mario Kart Wii (instead of Wii Sports) plus a color matching Wii Wheel for $149.99, starting May 15. This is a great deal as current Wii bundles typically retail for $199.99 and come with weaker titles Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, and a Wii Remote Plus.
Plus, Nintendo is also branding four flagship Wii games as "Nintendo Selects" and selling them for $20: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Animal Crossing: City Folk, Mario Super Sluggers and Wii Sports. At this price and for this caliber of game-play, who needs to browse the pre-owned rack at GameStop?
