Qualcomm has officially introduced and outlined some new Snapdragon processors, including the one soon to power the HP TouchPad.

The APQ8060 dual-core processor is sure to get the most attention (at least for now) given that it will be running on the most talked about tablet of the week, set to debut this summer. Apparently it will work hand-in-hand with the new Adreno 220 GPU.

These third-generation processors have the ability to support 3D content, up to a 16-megapixel camera, capture/display full HD 1080p stereoscopic video and 8-megapixel stereoscopic stills to an external source via HDMI.

So expect to see these implemented on consumer mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones that have a large emphasis on gaming and graphic-heavy apps.
