Quarterdeck to ship helpware package
Quarterdeck has joined the rush towards 'helpware'.
The utilities firm's RealHelp (£40 list) will go into the market in March against CyberMedia, Symantec and others in a relatively new category of software aimed at offering an all-in-one protector against system failures.
RealHelp's attractive user interface and audio effects offer a non-threatening set of diagnostic capabilities, including anti-virus, system check, inventory, support repair, recovery and optimisation tools.
The CD-ROM-only package takes about 20Mb of hard drive space.
