Report: PS2 hard drive set for Japan launch
According to the July 4 morning edition of Nihon Keizai Shinbun newspaper, Sony Computer Entertainment is scheduled to release the hard-disk drive for the PlayStation 2 on July 19 in Japan. According to the publication, the pricing for the external drive will be set at 19,000yen (US$153), while the internal one will retail for 18,000yen(US$145).
