AndroidThe first Sony Ericsson Android Phone will be a high-end handset tentatively set for the summer of 2009, Android Phone Fans (who else?) has learned.

Sony Ericsson's spokesman, Garfield Brusewitz, reportedly said that his company will focus on high-end phones first, and will introduce mass market models later. The first Android phone from SE will show up this summer.

Additionally, HTC -- manufacturers of the heralded/lamented T-Mobile G1, the first Android phone --  will also introduce more Android models this summer.

HTC exec Peter Frølund reportedly said that the company's got a "portfolio" of Android phones in the cannon, though this might just be the result of poor Phandroid translation.

The Phandroids translated stories from Swedish and Danish sources, which may or may not be accurate. (Any Scandinavian readers out there?)

If the reports are true, I, for one, can't wait -- as I wrote in a previous post, I liked Android considerably, but disliked HTC's G1/Dream hardware.

What phones do you wish ran Android?
