BlackBerry Cool notes CrackBerry reportage that the AT&T BlackBerry 8820s, due for release next Tuesday, will not have their built-in GPS neutered to work with only TeleNav’s service, like we told you previously.

Such a course of action would run counter to rumors that the GPS will be neutered.

Doug from BlackBerry Cool believes this un-neuter is largely attributable to negative feedback over the Internet on neutering plans. His sources do say, however, that some "neutered" 8820s are in the supply chain, with their fate undetermined.
