Router market up 13% in 2004

The worldwide router market grew by 13% for the full year 2004. While the majority of the growth was driven by service provider purchases of high-end routers for core network infrastructure, enterprise purchases also grew modestly during the year.

The worldwide router market grew by 13% for the full year 2004. While the majority of the growth was driven by service provider purchases of high-end routers for core network infrastructure, enterprise purchases also grew modestly during the year. Cisco and Juniper led the $1.2 bln market, according to Dell'Oro Group.
