Feeling a little left out with Adobe Flash and other great desktop apps that don't work on the iPad yet? Well, not to worry. The WYSE guys have you covered with PocketCloud, a new iPad application ($29.99) available on the App Store that allows you to connect to any desktop or virtual operating system that supports Microsoft's Remote Desktop Protocol.

I was able to test this successfully with Windows 7's Remote Assistance software enabled and it also works just fine with Windows XP. RDP is also supported on Linux desktops using XRDP and Remote Desktop Sharing on many popular Linux distributions (such as Ubuntu) as well as on several 3rd party RDP servers for Mac such as iRap by Coderebel.
