Safari for Windows: it syncs

When Steve Jobs made his WWDC announcement regarding Safari for Windows, there was much discussion about how this would broaden the iPhone developer community, yada yada.

Well, sure. But one important thing about Safari for Windows went largely uncommented-upon: When you're using a phone browser, you really need bookmarks that sync. Windows users now have that along with their Mac brethren and sistren. Even if they use Safari only to sync bookmarks to their iPhones, that's a huge convenience for Windows-using iPhone owners.

Me, I use Firefox, but have dusted off Safari to prune through my pre-Firefox bookmarks and add an iPhone folder for, thus far:

The day is not far off when all my Safari bookmarks will be there solely for iPhone utility. Add Safari to the rest of the dog whose tail is wagged by iPhone.
