Salesforce.com is giving its Marketing Cloud another push — this time geographically toward China and Russia.
The CRM giant is specifically fine-tuning its Radian6 social listening application to identify sales leads, social influence, customer sentiments and more across the biggest social networks in these two markets.
Two of the big examples include China's Sina Weibo and Russia's VKontakte.
The San Francisco-based corporation asserted this marks the first time that global brands will be able to tap into these social networks for sales and marketing leads as well as for feedback.
Radian6 monitors more than 650 million sources globally in 22 languages, including the Twitter Firehose of 400 million tweets per day.
To recall, Radian6, which forms the backbone of the Marketing Cloud along with fellow subsidiary Buddy Media, was acquired by Salesforce.com in 2011 for $326 million.
The Marketing Cloud was eventually unveiled for the first time as a more complete package at Dreamforce 2012 last September.
