Yesterday, Samsung India tweeted that the Galaxy S II wouldn't launch worldwide until June. Today, Samsung Tomorrow says otherwise. Is this really just a budding Twitter war between Samsung accounts?

Yesterday, Samsung India tweeted that the Galaxy S II wouldn't launch worldwide until June. Today, Samsung Tomorrow says otherwise. Is this really just a budding Twitter war between Samsung accounts?

Before we even ponder how silly that would be, let's deal with the Samsung tweet of the day. Samsung Tomorrow confirms that the Samsung Galaxy S II would in fact start being released this month, with a roll out planned to various markets at different times. A specific time table hasn't been revealed, but it should be soon if they're serious about this April launch business.

Accordingly, Samsung India's tweet from yesterday has been since deleted, so obviously we must be on the right track finally.

The Samsung Galaxy S II was unveiled at Mobile World Congress in February. It is expected to have a 1.2GHz processor and will run on Android 2.3. Obviously, as we don't have a launch plan, pricing hasn't been revealed yet.
