The computer announcements just seem to keep coming today. Samsung has joined the party, starting with the launch of the P580 business laptop.

Powered by either an Intel Core i3 or i5 processor and running on Windows 7 Professional OS, the P580 notebook is geared toward IT clientele. Customers can also look forward to Nvidia GeForce GT 330M graphics with 1GB of gDDR3 memory. Rounding off the interior assets include an Intel HM55 chipset, up to 4GB of RAM, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.

On the outside, the P580 hosts a 15.6-inch, non-glossy LED-backlit display (1,366 x 768 resolution) and keyboard with a full-size numeric keypad. All of that comes within a durable, 5.5-lb. chassis. Unfortunately, neither pricing nor release dates have been announced yet.
