Previously announced with a 1GHz chip, the Samsung Galaxy S II is reportedly getting a processor upgrade before it's even released.

According to GSM Arena citing an "internal source," the Galaxy S II will be bumped up to a 1.2GHz processor. However, the maker and name of the processor hasn't been revealed.

Samsung hasn't confirmed this improvement, but there's something else we're still waiting for even more: launch plans. The next installment in the Galaxy S smartphone series debuted back in February at Mobile World Congress, and now it looks like the global release won't be until at least June. Anyone waiting around for this one?
