SAS and Nokia have made an agreement that will allow business intelligent applications developers access to testing on Nokia's WAP Server.

AppDev Studio is a suite of Java-based development tools which the company calls a "complete stand-alone environment for building Java applications/applets and other Web-based applications."

Under the agreement, a 30-day free trial of the Nokia WAP Server will be given to customers who have licensed SAS' AppDev Studio worldwide.

Nokia's WAP Server is a software solution that connects WAP enabled mobile terminals to content and applications hosted by Web servers or any other server on the Internet or Intranet.

Version 2 of AppDev Studio, which will be available this December, will include Nokia's software development kit that will enable developers to immediately test their applications on the server.
