All credit due to theoldgospelsong "All My Trials," for the thread-hed.
Anyhow, SBC said today that in anticipation of a nationwide residential VoIP rollout in "early 2005," it is wrapping uptrials in Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago and San Antonio.
I should add that SBC is no stranger to VoIP. It's been offering VoIP to business customers since 1998.
Your assignment for today: if you're a current user of SBC's business-themed VoIP or have been testing their residential flavor of VoIP in any of the four test markets I've mentioned, I want to hear from you. In terms of usability, portability, reliability and service, what's your experience been like?
