I recently blogged about shrinking cities. And we've all heard about shrinking newspapers. Lay-offs, smaller payrolls, even shut-downs. The "Gray Lady" did another shrinking act today. The "New York Times Sunday Magazine" is now 9% smaller. Not fewer pages, just smaller ones. Simply put: using less paper per issue will save money. And they even have a newly-designed typeface that is more condensed to fit onto those smaller pages. Smaller cars. Smaller homes. Smaller pages. Shrinking is in.
