My fellow VoIP blogger Tom Keating has an informative post on Skype for Windows version 1.2, which was released earlier today and is now available for download.

Tom confirms Skype's assertions that several features new to v1.2 make the user experience easier. Just in case you were wondering (and I suspect you are), these featuresare highlighted by a ratherintuitive Getting Started Wizard for configuring functions and preferences. One of these functions is a centralized Contacts list where users can access contact info from multiple Skype-connected devices.

I'd love to see some TalkBacks from those of you who have downloaded and installed Skype for Windows Version 1.2.
