Small Business Administration summarized loan data from June 2002 to June 2003, showed that the volume in micro-business lending over the period dropped 10%, from 15.7 mln loans to 14.1 mln. The value of outstanding loans dropped 2.5%. At the same time, the demand and supply of bank loans showed moderate increases in 2002 and the first half of 2003.
