Smartphones up 75% in Q3 2005
Global shipments of smart mobile devices were up 75% in Q3 2005 compared to Q3 2004. Handheld shipments overall fell 18%, while converged devices doubled in volume.
Global shipments of smart mobile devices were up 75% in Q3 2005 compared to Q3 2004. Handheld shipments overall fell 18%, while converged devices doubled in volume. Nokia shipped record 7.1 mln smart phones, up 142% YTY, and remained the market leader.
