This "sophisticated" shade is set to launch in at least Japan on February 10, and it doesn't look like the gold paint will step up the price. Hopefully US consumers will get a chance at this lovely hue as well. If not, you could always pick up the Olympus PEN E-PL1, already available in champagne gold.
The NEX-5 currently retails stateside for approximately $500-$600, depending on the lens buying option.
