Stitch Labs integrates with Square, links point-of-sale with inventory

Stitch Labs now integrates mobile platform Square, which the company's chief executive says helps businesses grow faster.

Inventory management firm Stitch Labs has integrated with Square, the company announced on Tuesday.

In partnering with the mobile payments giant, created by co-founder of Twitter Jack Dorsey, Stitch now lets sellers sync inventory across Square and other sales channels.

Stitch chief executive Brandon Levey said in prepared remarks that the deal made it easier for customers to seek out business growth, as the integration expands payment opportunities while keeping inventory data in one location.

Square helps brick-and-mortar sellers run businesses with a mobile-focused point-of-sale service. Square works on iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. 

The mobile payments firm recently is valued at just over $5 billion, according to recent reports, after the company denied it was floating itself on the market to be snapped up by a bigger Silicon Valley player.

The integration is available today.
