The latest entrant into Australia's domestic airline market, Strategic Airlines, has signed a new deal with airline IT systems and transactions company Amadeus to appear on its global sales platform.
The deal sees Strategic flights and services displayed via the Amadeus Selling Platform for travel agents across the globe in real time.
Bob Kane, CIO of Strategic Airlines, believes that the new deal is crucial.
"As a relatively new airline, it's imperative that we ensure that our fare schedule can be accessed by as many points of sale as possible," said Kane.
Amadeus Australia's managing director, Sari Vahakoski, is keen to get to work with the new airline.
"Amadeus is pleased to be working with Strategic Airlines in the competitive Australian travel market and hopes this contract will ensure a stable long-term cooperation with the carrier," she said.
