Sun boots Solaris on Itanium hardware

Sun Microsystems Inc. said Monday that it is running Solaris on Intel’s Itanium hardware and expects to ship the operating system the second half of next year.

Sun Microsystems Inc. said Monday that it is running Solaris on Intel’s Itanium hardware and expects to ship the operating system the second half of next year.
