Singapore - Sun Microsystems today announced the creation of a new iPlanet Expertise Center to help customers build e-commerce solutions by combining products for the Internet from iPlanet E-Commerce Solutions, a Sun-Netscape Alliance, with consulting expertise from Sun Professional Services.

According to Sun, the center will provide a focal point for best practices, reference architectures, and product expertise to help customers build and deploy innovative, customized Internet solutions for the digital marketplace.
