ACT! 3.0 for Windows 95/NT (£189 + VAT list, £79 + VAT upgrade) lets users share contact records and calendaring across workgroups over the Internet (via Microsoft Exchange), a LAN or by e-mail. Links to customers' Web sites can also be built in.

Other new features include a customisable user interface, the ability to link to Microsoft Word and WordPerfect files; contact attachments such as letters; new form and list views; business opportunity tracking; and simultaneous calendar viewing by day, week and month.

ACT! 3.0 also includes Symantec's LiveUpdate technology that automatically launches updates and other related product information over the Internet or through a modem connection.

A version of ACT! 3.0 for Windows 3.1 will be available in January 1997.
