Symantec has acquired LiveOffice, an archiving company, in a bid to bolster its cloud-computing offerings.
In a statement on Monday, Symantec said that it will use LiveOffice to bolster its information governance unit.
LiveOffice provides a cloud-based archiving system. The deal was valued at $115m (£74.9m).
Symantec also said it is better integrating its e-discovery and archiving software. It will integrate its Clearwell e-discovery platform and its Enterprise Vault software.
