At this point there isn't too much to announce concerning T-Mobile and its Samsung's Galaxy S II. But while the phone has been available on Sprint for some time now and is coming to AT&T next week, T-Mobile itself has been pretty silent on some of the phone's major details, in particular when its to be released.
The company broke that silence today, announcing that its version of the Galaxy S II would hit stores October 12 alongside the recently-announced HTC Amaze. That makes the T-Mobile version of the phone the last of the three to make it to market, but with the phone's specifications, its tardiness may not matter.
Unlike the models of Galaxy S II offered by AT&T and Sprint, which come with 1.2GHz dual-core Exynos processors, the T-Mobile version will run on a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor. Couple that speed with the device's sizable 4.52-inch screen and you have what is probably the best of the three varieties of the phone.
T-Mobile will sell the phone for a pretty steep $229 after a $50 rebate and with a compatible voice and data plan. That's sort of out of this world.
