T-Mobile Sidekick 4G headed to Radio Shack this month
Radio Shack has secured itself a significant smartphone launch this month with the anticipatedT-Mobile's Samsung Sidekick 4G.
Announced to the world via Twitter, the Sidekick is promised to be in Radio Shack stores on Wednesday, April 20th. However, no other release details were announced.
In case you haven't heard about the resurrection of the Sidekick, the new 4G edition sports the familiar Sidekick style with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard and 3.5-inch display up top with the control buttons on the sides, intending for the user to hold the device horizontally. Modern day updates include a touch screen on that panel, Android 2.2 and a Samsung 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor.
Hopefully this isn't Radio Shack's idea of an April Fools Day joke. There could be a lot of angry customers at the Shack on April 20th...
