TAFE QLD renews decade-long IT support relationship with Accenture

Accenture will continue to provide support for TAFE Queensland's student administration system.

The Department of Education, Training and Employment has signed Accenture again for a two-year business, applications, and infrastructure support services contract.

Accenture has worked with TAFE Queensland since 2002, working on its Institutes Student Administrative System to providing services such as business consulting, systems integration, and maintenance.

ISAC is a centralised student administrations system that covers over 80 TAFE campuses across Queensland to provide a quarter of a million students with access to records and enrolment tools.

"Accenture has proven itself to be a reliable and valued provider of services to us and, with the latest arrangement, both of our organisations will continue to focus on improving the student experience across the state by providing a solution that meets the challenges of our environment," The Department of Education, Training and Employment spokesperson Dean Sedgman said in a statement.

Earlier this month, Unisys's IT contract with TAFE Queensland was also renewed for another two years. The pair has worked together for nearly 15 years.
