Taiwanese motherboard shipments down 4% in January

Motherboard shipments from Taiwan's four first-tier makers totaled about six million units in January, down 4% from 6.25 million in December, according to preliminary estimates from the companies. The decline came as a result of the reduced working days due to the Chinese New Year holiday, the companies said.
