TechLines: Big Data Debunked live stream

Join us here on Oct. 4 for a live-streamed panel discussion on big data.

Finally, what you've been waiting for!

This is the place where we at ZDNet will stream -- live! -- our TechLines event, "Big Data Debunked -- Finding the Data Signals." We'll be broadcasting beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 4. (Mark your calendars -- that's this week!)

Our panel will include Nicholas Skytland of NASA, Michael Cavaretta of Ford, Katrina Montinola of Archimedes, Christine Twiford of T-Mobile and James Kobielus of IBM. ZDNet editor-in-chief Larry Dignan will moderate the discussion. (You can find out more about our TechLines series here.)

We will be broadcasting from the Jerome L. Greene Performance Space in New York, but we welcome participation wherever you are. To talk big data with us before, during and after the event, join the discussion on Twitter by using the hashtag #techlines.

We're also live-blogging! Join the discussion:
