A lot of new features have been thrown around for the next iPhone in recent days, but few are as interesting as the possibility of the device (named the iPhone 4S, apparently) hitting Sprint and T-Mobile when it arrives.
That's according to Jefferies & Co. analyst Peter Misek, who said that industry checks indicate that the other two major carriers would join the iPhone party later this year. China Mobile, the world's largest mobile operator, will land the device as well, Misek said.
Misek also noted that the next iPhone would net a number of minor cosmetic changes, including better cameras and HSPA+ support.
Those waiting for an LTE-equipped iPhone should look elsewhere: According to Miskek the iPhone 4S won't have a LTE radio. Apple, however, does aim to include that functionality in later devices, he said.
