The Queen puts her money into the Web
Her Majesty invests onlineThe Queen of England has declared her enthusiasm for online business by injecting £100,000 of her own hard earned cash into an e-commerce company.
Elizabeth Royal (ER) has asked investment firm Privy Purse to invest her money in the Millennium Mapping Company which is assembling and aerial photographic plan of Britain that are to be made available on the Internet. These aerial photographs are taken from a low-flying plane and can be blown-up to reveal incredible detail up to 25-cm.
Although the Queen is one of the wealthiest women in the world and owns an extraordinary amount of land, this is believed to be the sovereign's first ever business venture.
