TomTom has announced that its new VIA series of GPS navigation devices is ready for shipping in North America starting today. No joke.

The collection consists of four devices, each coming with TomTom's latest software, bright touch screen, and a fold-and-go EasyPort mounting system. There are two display size options: the 4.3-inch 1405 and 1435 followed by the 5-inch 1505 and 1535 (pictured above).

However, the 1435 and 1535 are the higher-end models with premium features such as Bluetooth (hands-free) calling and intuitive voice control. They also sport a fancier design with contemporary brushed-aluminum finish. (The basic 1405 and 1505 stick with the classic all-black finish.)

The TomTom VIA series is available now, and pricing starts at $169.
