Apple rumored to be developing proprietary mobile GPU

A rumor has surfaced that says Apple will stop using Imagination's PowerVR chip in favor of a proprietary GPU under development in Cupertino. Industry sources claim Apple has been working on this chip in secrecy for several years.

Apple releases iPhone battery case, Cook says "It's not a hump"

Years after third-party options have been available for the iPhone, Apple has released its own $99 battery case for the latest iPhones. The case contains a battery that adds hours of usage away from an outlet.

The case has a hump on the back containing the battery and reviewers have proclaimed it an ugly hump. In an interview Tim Cook defended the case saying it's not a hump.
