Toshiba Chromebook 2 gets Core i3

The capable Chromebook 2 from Toshiba gets even better with a fifth generation Core i3 processor.


Toshiba has released refreshed models of the Chromebook 2 with better processors. An innovative design fits a 13.3-inch HD display in a body sized for a 12-inch screen. The new Chromebook 2 has all of the features needed for a work laptop including a backlit keyboard.

In addition to the model with the Intel Core i3 processor, the Chromebook 2 is also available with a Celeron processor. Chrome OS runs fine with the Celeron and this presents a more affordable option than the Core i3.
