Toshiba Europe has introduced the mini NB250 netbook, complete with a "full-size" keyboard, a large touchpad and an Intel Atom CPU.
The 10.1-inch netbook computer is meant to be a basic computing device, made most obvious by the implementation of Windows 7 Starter OS. But, with a small frame and reasonable battery life (up to 8.5 hours), it would be useful when traveling.
Here's what else the mini NB250 boasts:
- 10.1-inch TruBrite, LED-backlit LCD screen (1,024 x 600 resolution)
- Intel Atom N455 1.66GHz processor
- Intel GMA 3150 graphics
- Up to 1 GB DDR3 memory
- Up to 250 GB 2.5-inch hard drive
- 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi
- Built-in VGA webcam
- Six-cell battery
- Connectivity: Three USB 2.0 ports, Ethernet, Multi-card reader
All of that put together weighs only 2.8 pounds and is comprised within a sleek black casing that looks sure to attract many fingerprints.
The mini NB250 will be rolled out within Europe, the Middle East and Africa this summer. No mention about pricing yet.
