Toshiba has a new laptop computer to debut, and it is anything but ordinary. The Libretto W100 concept PC will certainly get some extra looks with two multi-touch displays, looking more like an e-book reader than a netbook.
However, productivity could still be a challenge for those who prefer to type on an actual, physical keyboard than a touchscreen. There is a single USB 2.0 port if you want to connect your own, but that defeats the purpose of easier portability.
As for the rest of the important specs, the Intel Pentium U5400-powered Libretto W100 runs Windows 7 Home Premium, and it includes 2GB of RAM, a 62GB SSD, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a microSD card slot.
Again, as this is a rather unique, untested design for a laptop, Toshiba isn't pushing forward with a huge launch yet. The Libretto W100 will be available for a limited release later this summer. No price tag has been attached yet.
