I bought a Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 mini mobile phone, which runs Android.
All well and good (apart from not being able to get hold of an unlock code for love nor money) but after updating to Android 2.1, I can only see a few wireless networks. I found a not-particularly-workable workaround, which is to change the wireless router channel from the default (which is normally 7 or thereabouts) to something low like 3 or 4.
I don't know why but this has worked on a couple of occasions. Surely mobile phones should be able to pick up any wifi channel? Or are they not particularly robust when it comes to interference from other wifi networks?
Yours, confused, and only mildly happier...
