Turkey Day holiday deal for NFTS driver, free update for Seagate drive owners

Paragon Software's NTFS for Mac OS X 10, released in the summer, provides Mac OS X Mountain Lion compatibility, added support for extended attributes, and improved performance and stability, the company said. The driver can read and write to NTFS volumes and lets Mac users work with NTFS files as they would an ordinary Mac HFS+ volume. The software also supports NTFS formatting and integrity checking as well as a control panel for the driver.

Paragon said Seagate hard drive owners can download a version called Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X 10 for Seagate drives starting on Thanksgiving Day (9:00 am EST) through December 1.

In addition, the company is offering a bundle of the NTS driver and an HFS+ for Windows is offered for any drive for $19.95 during the same time frame. A button for the deal can be found on the same page above.
