A spokeswoman for Road Runner, Time Warner's high-speed Internet service, confirmed Monday that the service has been unable to deliver e-mail since Saturday. The problem occurred when a database server failed during routine maintenance. The outage affects 43,000 customers in Kansas and Ohio. Road Runner says it has called in a team from Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) to help fix the problem but there is still no estimate for when it will be operational. According to Road Runner, no mail has been lost during the outage. -- Jennifer Mack, ZDNet News
