US nonmanufacturing index up to 62.2% in June 2005

Nonmanufacturing index rose to 62.2% in June 2005 from 58.5% in May 2005. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch expected the index to slip to 58.4%. Readings over 50% indicate expansion. The index has been above 50% for 27 months.
