US video game sales down 5% in January 2006
US video game sales were down 5% to $357 mln in January 2006, the fifth consecutive month of declines, according to NPD Group. Microsoft sold 250,000 of its new Xbox 360s in January, bringing NPD's US unit sold count to 857,000.
