Laurent Lachal is currently in charge of Ovum's open-source research practice, covering the various aspects of the open-source movement and its impact on the software market. Prior to joining Ovum, Laurent was a senior analyst at Gartner, specialising in the European software market.
Sarah Saltzman has been in the IT industry for 20 years and has been working with Compuware since 1995. As a frequent speaker at trade shows, seminars and user groups, Sarah is Compuware's key spokesperson on all quality, risk-management, project-management and testing issues.
Stuart McGill was appointed chief technology officer at Micro Focus in February 2006 and is responsible for shaping future product innovations and bringing world-class software solutions to market. McGill has also created, developed and sold businesses in the software-development and marketing-services sectors. He holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Birmingham University.
